Pastor Kenton Birtell
Pastor Kenton Birtell has served as pastor of Mt. Calvary in Holdrege since September of 2000. He considers it a joy to see God at work in so many ways in people’s lives. Mt. Calvary is a wonderful congregation of believers who are passionate about bringing the Good News of Jesus to All people for the first time and for a lifetime.
Pastor Birtell was raised in Eldridge, Iowa with two brothers and three sisters. He graduated from Concordia University in Seward, NE in 1991 and from Concordia Seminary in 1995. In 2005 he received a Master of Science degree from Concordia University in Family Life Ministry.
He is blessed to be married to Linda for over 25 years. They have two children, daughter Hannah and son Nathan.
Ann Anderson
Director of Children’s Ministry
Ann has served at Mt. Calvary since August of 2002. She is the Director of Children’s Ministry and has a passion for reaching not only the children, but also the family. Ann is a graduate from Concordia College in Seward, NE and is home again at Mt. Calvary where she was a member in High School. She has 3 daughters; Faith, Hope and Grace (yes, Grace not love) and her love is her husband Kyle. In her spare time she likes to scrapbook and you can ask her to play a game of cards anytime.
